Step-by-step Guide
Step 1
Navigate to Interfaces
Log in to the platform. On your start page, click Interfaces from the left-side menu.
Step 2
Create a New Interface
On the Interfaces page, click New Interface. You'll see three options: Ask (chat assistant) — not relevant right now; Use our templates — not relevant right now; Build together with us — this is the option you need. Choose “Build together with us” and click Continue.
Step 3
Naming the Interface
Provide a clear name for your interface (for example, “Onboarding Video”). Click Continue.
Step 4
Selecting Source and Target Applications
Now you select where your data comes from (source application) and where it needs to go (target application). For example: Source: choose AFAS Profit (a Dutch HRM and payroll system) and click Confirm. Target: choose your target system (e.g., Sage). If the target application is not immediately visible, click Manage inactive apps, search for the application, activate it, then refresh your page. Once visible, select it and click Confirm.
Step 5
Filling in the Purpose and Special Conditions
Clearly describe the purpose of your interface, e.g.: “Send HRM data from AFAS Profit to Sage Payroll.” Add special conditions or limitations if you know them upfront (for example: “Sage is running on a local server within our company”). If you're unsure, it's okay—you can leave this empty.
Step 6
Assign Responsible Persons
Clearly indicate who should be contacted if issues arise. Add yourself with your role (for example, Payroll Administrator). Add a colleague, such as an IT Administrator, who can assist with system-related questions.
Step 7
Define Interface Frequency
Select how often your interface should run. For now, you can choose Custom or any option relevant to your situation.
Quick Recap of the Steps

- Choose Build together with us → Name your interface
- Select your source and target systems
- Provide a clear purpose and note special conditions
- Add responsible persons (yourself and a colleague)
- Set the frequency of the interface run
